Vintage Studded Leather Jacket

This one-of-one jacket began as a vintage, heavy-duty genuine leather motorcycle jacket and was transformed through hand alteration and wear-driven intervention.

The leather retains its original weight and structure — thick, broken-in, and built to last — while the surface has been painted and distressed, allowing the jacket’s history and new marks to coexist. Stud hardware has been added throughout, introducing texture, weight, and attitude without overwhelming the original silhouette.

Fringe detailing was intentionally cut and reduced, sharpening the profile and removing excess softness to give the jacket a more aggressive edge. Additional minor details and surface irregularities were left visible, preserving the rawness of the process rather than over-finishing the piece.

The result is a jacket that feels lived-in, altered, and individual — not restored, not replicated, and not meant to be perfected.
